Hello, this is Mariella from E-Cono-Me and in this workshop I will be sharing with you some golden nuggets that I have learnt from successfully creating several online businesses that are all in different niches and which I have grown from nothing and which now make me 10k months. I will teach you how to choose your perfect niche.
Now the point is that most of you are very talented, and have quite a lot of ideas, but you do not have the visibility of what kind of niche you should go into. That is why I get asked often, but what is my ideal niche. And we know that without a niche, without a core subject, you cannot create a business.
So a question that I hear a lot is… Mariella… how do I choose a perfect niche that is both profitable and also fun to work on?
Because let us face it. I am sure that you would rather be spending more time with your family and friends – especially now that Covid is somewhat on the decline, than spending hours on your computer trying to put material together.
But the truth is that when you do this correctly, you will actually not just enjoy what you are doing but you will also feel excited to do what you will be doing – especially when you start seeing some revenue. And the truth is that when you see results, you gain momentum and you will start seeing even more results.
So when you pick a good niche, that you already know is profitable, because you know other people that are making money from it – and that is not saturated – you are going to be on the right track. If you have a solution to any problem and you are going to help someone solve this problem… you know that you are on the right track. Because you will be using your knowledge not just to help others but to make it become your personal business – and also your profitable business!
But the very first foundation that we need to get to – is “helping you to find your niche” – helping you to find your voice. Without this foundation, you cannot start on your business.

But since I know that you are a Lady Boss on Fire…. I thought that it will be absolutely helpful, if I walked you through the very same process that I walk my paying clients – on the academy – who are now themselves making 10k months – when they closely follow this process!
What this means is that by the end of this post you are going to know exactly which Niche is profitable for you – whilst being fun and valuable to people.
So let us get started!
There are three main steps that you will need to take to this proven process:
Choose Your Perfect Niche
#1 Step on How to Choose your Perfect Niche
You need to assess your existing skill sets – and your knowledge – or your passion – or anything that you know a little bit more than the average person. This is what is called “the low hanging fruit to your success”. After all, it is so much easier to talk about a topic that you know something about, that you are passionate about, that you have some experience of and that you have no problem doing even more research about and learning some more along with way. Right?
This is definitely much better than trying to learn something from scratch that you know nothing about – because you are not going to struggle – it is going to be a natural process for you.
So for example for me, it was quite easy to create – a course about crypto currencies, trading and digital assets, because as a finance graduate, I never lost my passion or appetite for trading and I never stop researching and learning the subject. But if instead of that, I decided to teach something about gardening, which I love to see but I know nothing about, or about knitting, I am definitely going to have a very difficult time doing that.
So for starters, it is a great idea to start making a list of the subjects that you have some experience in, or that you are absolutely passionate about, that you cannot stop talking about them.
Let me give you an example of one of my clients, who started a business from scratch and out of nothing, and is now starting to gain momentum. Samyra has been by client for the past six months, and together we started her business called Slinky And Co. Samyra was pregnant when she realized that all nursing bras she could find locally were very unappealing, and she wanted to remain feeling appealing after she gave birth. This is how she starting her business for attractive and even sexy underwear for nursing mothers.
It was a natural process for her because she found a missing link in her hub but also she had passion for her idea.
If you are someone who is in the beauty business and has started her own salon, naturally the easiest would be to teach someone how to start a beauty business and run your own salon.
If you have – for example – lost a lot of weight and you are now much healthier the health and wellness niche would be for you.
Erika – vegan – started her business teaching the benefits of vegan eating and started training people on how to cook delicious vegan food.
We spoke to Rae Wang in an interview and she has created a masterclass and works with business people on “owning their voice” because she overcame her childhood traumas of being shy and now trains other people to establish their brand through their voice.
So you see how this works? I am sure that by now you are thinking… yes… there is a particular subject that I have a passion for, that I have knowledge about and this could be my niche.
So pen and paper and start writing down, your experiences and your inclinations on what could be your niche.
And do not discount the idea that your niche may not be profitable, because that is exactly the next step in our process.
So now you have picked a subject that you feel confident that you can talk about, which is obviously so much better than if you start off on a subject that you know very little about.
So now we need to explore and see whether these ideas will actually make money… because bottom line this is what this is all about yes?
And this puts us into the second step…
#2 Step on How to Choose your Perfect Niche
This is called Market Validation – so here is where we are going to ensure that you do not work for months on end, on a subject that does not have enough audience to make it profitable. Remember whoever is going to buy your service, your ideas, your coaching, or even your product is going to spend money – which is going to be your revenue – and therefore you want a subject that will solve someone else’s problem – that they will want to pay you money for the solution that you are giving them.
Again if you do this right – it is like looking at a crystal ball – and you can be sure that your topic is going to be profitable.
So the first thing that we do at this point is that we go on clickbank affiliate market place – so that we search for profitable niches. Because let us face it – if other people are making money in a niche which resembles yours, there is absolutely no reason why you should not be able to make money yourself.
What you have to search is items that are similar. ( at least three or four) to your niche that have a gravity of or more than 10.. if the answer is yes… then hey… you are already in the game.
Clickbank is just one place where you can find digital products, but it is definitely not the only place… so if you do not find anything on clickbank do not be disheartened because you can move to good old Google Search.. and yes it can be this simple..
Just type in a basic keyword that is related to your idea – or a search term and see what comes up. If you find more than one page of professional websites that will respond to your search.. then you already know that you are on the right track.
Example: type in “groom your cat” and see what happens.
After that you can go to “Groom your Cat Forum” and from there you will find a huge community who are asking for help in grooming their cat. That should already give you an idea even what type of content you can be presenting to your audience..
When there is need in the market there is profit!
So you should do this market validation on everything that you have a big star on your most fun and knowledge niches and put a $ symbol next to the ideas that have just been proven that are popular by other sellers and therefore they are definitely profitable.

#3 Step on How to Choose your Perfect Niche
Now that you have a list of winners it is important that you choose ONE NICHE… very important not to lose the wood for the trees and start focusing on that one niche in order to start creating your content and rolling in those profits.
But, you have to remember that you just cannot copy everyone that you see in that niche and expect to be successful.
This is where the final step in our process kicks in.
In order to start making your way to your 10k months, you need to create a tangent, an interesting marketing hook that will make you stand out above the rest. This is where you need to create a unique selling proposition.
How do you create that… well basically your content should have a slightly fresh approach. For example when we looked at “grooming your cat” we realized that we found countless websites, as well as forums discussing cat grooming… however, if instead of using plain words like “grooming your cat” you use the words “the slinky and silky cat” you would already stand out from the rest.
It essentially cuts out a lot of your competitors from the equation because you already sound more attractive and therefore their cats are going to be a lot more attractive too. You are offering a solution that your audience has not heard of before..
Your audience will think… I want my cat to look slinky and silky.. and I have not managed to achieve my goal before because I was not following… Linda’s or Maria’s XYZ method… right?
And finally let us talk a little bit about personality and personal branding. Even if you are still starting and setting out – it is you – and your personality and therefore the creation of your personal brand that will stand out. Injecting your personality into your content is of absolute importance. We have spoken at length about “owning your voice” which is in other words – developing your personality and your personal brand into your passions.
You are your unique self and therefore there is not going to be anyone who can do exactly what you do, because it is your personality that will stand out! In today’s world where even a recording like this could be handed to a robot with a perfect cultured and clipped voice…. People choose to hear an accent …. Just because they know that I am real… that I am using my experience and my success to help you succeed… and this would be the same for you.
Therefore, never be judgmental on yourself, because when you are fun, when you are authentic, when you have enthusiasm, you have all the right keys that will open the doors to your success.
Speak to your audience in the same way that you would speak to a valued friend… and you will be heading towards the road of creating your own digital business. Do not be afraid to share your opinions, your likes and dislikes. You may not resonate with every single person who hears you out, but those who will because you have captured their attention, become your loyal audience.
You are instantly positioned as being unique to everyone else in your niche.
So with your niche that you have just proven to be profitable and some unique style of selling proposition – you will have laid the foundations of moving forward with your new online business and start seeing your profits…. Which is the whole point of this presentation today.
